How to Spot a Real Pop Mart Labubu
We care about your collecting experience. Here's a quick guide to help you verify if your Labubu is authentic. All legit Labubu figures from Pop Mart share these key features:
-
QR Code
Leads to the official Pop Mart authentication page. It’s usually found on the box or under the packaging seal. -
Box Quality
Smooth matte finish with slight embossing and muted pastel colors—not overly shiny or saturated. -
Inner Foil
Matte with a slight, textured feel. Counterfeits often have glossy, cheap-looking foil. -
ID Card & Desiccant
Clear, sharp print with a high-quality, premium feel. No blurry fonts or off-center printing. -
Stitching & Fur Quality
Real Labubu plushies have invisible stitching and soft, fluffy fur. If the seams are obvious or the fur feels rough, it might not be legit. -
Vinyl Face
Matte, flexible texture with clean, even paintwork—no bleeding or uneven lines. -
Teeth Details
Exactly 9 pointed teeth. If you count more or fewer, or if they’re rounded or unsharp, that’s a red flag. -
Tag
Thin, clean font and readable print. Fake versions often use bolder or distorted text. -
Feet & Bottom Marks
Feet should rotate 360°. On the sole, you’ll find a clear Pop Mart logo—and for newer versions, a subtle UV mark.
